State Bank of India or SBI had conducted a written examination for the recruitment of candidates for the post of Probationary Officer or PO post whose results have been declared and the selected candidates will now have to face a group discussion and personal interview for the Phase II recruitment which will start soon. • To improve your speaking style and posture and also to avoid hesitation, speak in English in front of the mirror. Also when you are having a conversation with your friends, try to speak in English as this will remove the fear from you and you will be able to speak with confidence.
• Speak clearly and concisely so that other people can understand clearly what you want to say. You should be able to express yourself clearly and should not ramble on.
• During a group discussion, take the opportunity to speak first that is to initiate the group discussion as it gives a good impression on the evaluator. But initiate the conversation only if you have a good knowledge of the topic given.
• Use examples from day to day life, common sayings and proverbs and quotes as this will add as a plus point during the group discussion.
• Sit straight with a confident posture.

• Remain calm and be confident as confidence is the key to success of an interview but over confidence is equally bad. Over confidence adds a negative impression of the candidates. So try to be confident and avoid over confidence.

• While answering or expressing your views in the interview speak clearly and concisely so that other people can understand clearly what you want to say. You should be able to express yourself clearly and should not ramble on.
• You should know about each and everything written in your resume clearly as anything may be asked from your resume and when asked you should not fumble or stammer as it leaves a negative remark of yours. So knowing each and everything thoroughly written on the interview is very important.
• Sit straight with a confident posture. While talking to the interview panel, maintain eye contact with them. Maintaining eye contact during an interview also counts.
• Get prepared with some most probable questions like why do you want this job or why only this company or what are your strengths and weaknesses etc. and try to answer them smartly with all your wit.
• Dress yourself in a proper formal attire and carry with yourself all your relevant certificates, documents and copies of your resume. Reach the venue before time as coming late would give a bad impression of yours.
